Express service from AIR INDIA ?
Air India has finally launched a budget airline under the name of "AIR INDIA EXPRESS". This is currently flying to Middle East destinations primarily from Kerala.
It aims to cover more destinations in future which includes singapore as well. Hope the competition for Singapore-India sector becomes more competitive due to players like these coming into the game. Currently an Abu Dhabi-Kochi ticket costs about Rs 2500, which is less that SGD 100, which seems a great deal of money for me. Lets see how far can this airliner fly !
